Each of seven syllables;
a poem of seven lines.
I wonder will it matter,
does the bastard have to rhyme?
It's like six partial haiku
or a tercet shouting loud
whoever picked this format should be lying in a shroud.

I appreciate the attention and time, the minimum was seven in case someone wanted the eighth line to have no syllables.  So everyone did it kinda wrong but that's my fault...  I loved them all thank you everyone for submitting! Duke's was spot on, great
