Can poetry ever be irrelevant?

maybe we don't see any value
in the junk collector's art
but someone else might
or maybe the quality of nothingness is the art
I have seen some gallery art that made me laugh, seemed ludicrous
but it was in a fine museum taking up space
so someone must have been charmed by it
maybe the work of the artist, the energy used by the being, is some form of art
or maybe just his expression, no matter how abstract or ridiculous to some,
has done his soul good.
