Why do you call me Hine-nui-te-Pō?
On my side of the cave
I’m Goddess of light, of life,
the colour yellow in sunrise.
It wasn’t me who made man mortal.
That worm Maui made no complaints
about teeth in my vagina,
so eager to possess me
he hadn’t thought of needing
an exit.
I crunched him like
a huhu grub
between my teeth.
Sweet as.
