I Don't like Writing
about mirrors
I think of Elizabeth Allende
and some yawning symbol,
magically real. Not
that the symbol is the issue
or Allende. I like
both; its
that I don't want
to look
at myself
and see what else
is there,
what more
there is.
I see,
shit, fuck this line,
but what sees?
Or worse:
what isn't?
