That's a desk not a pillow, - I loved this line. Laughed out loud when I read it. Could you consider an exclamation point? Might add some more comedy.

nicely along crooked lines, - The visualization of "flowing nicely along crooked lines reminds me of my own writing. Nice job here. Maybe try getting rid of "but all the" might cut down some extraneous words.

Oh this is chemistry! You said gadolinium..." - The laughter can hardly be contained. Loving your comedic voice. Sarcastic, droll, clever.

All I hear is barking dogs
echoing inside my brain
drowning anything you say.
Write it down, I sound insane - I don't like this comma. The pause doesn't feel right to me. Possibly could be reworded?

contorting my stupid face. - Stupid feels wrong here. Words like chaos, endlessly, and nonsense make me feel crazy, but crazy and stupid are two completely different things.

timing spawns and silence calms,
but your mouth is moving, wait -

Oh I just got home from work, you said God drinking again!" - The comedy turns much darker here. The transition from silly to serious is very well done here.

Adding the third section definitely helps. There is a great power in groups of three.
