Nice one. You also nail Larkin's gender fluidity (though of course it wasn't called that, and he wouldn't have thanked anyone for bringing it up, he was just "non-conformist" and fair play to him). He was pretty messed up, and what may be politely called "curmudgeonly", in turns no doubt appearing apathetic and furious. He would have made an awesome drinking buddy.

Imagine Larkin and Wilde at the same dinner party...

It could be worse
