have you not ever been more enraged than when your plan to get back at someone failed? Getting even is the bees knees and when you are denied that you're pretty fucking pissed. This is base, not meta. What enrages someone more than not being able to get even, I can't think of a single thing.
Yes, there are many different definitions for rage. Who gives a fuck. I don't think listing every one of them would have helped the poem.
