I know that or I am told that people die from the flu but in my life time I have never seen someone that has. I personally have never had a flu shot nore has any person in my family. Yes from time to time we get the flu.
I have friends that get flu shots every year and every year they get extreemly sick with the flu. I mean sick enough that they can't work, but they swear by the flu shot. It seems a bit odd to me that most of the people that I know personally who do not get the shots, very rarely get the flu and when they do it is more of a cold than anything else. In contrast the people I know that get the shots get really sick.
I am sure I must be missing something here as I certainly don't believe that having a flu shot that comes with any risk of death or other complications to an otherwise healthy person is something that is a good idea.
