deleting posts

A different "deleting posts" question.

I've posted twice in a recent thread. Both times my post has been deleted w/o a reason.  Is there one?

Look up a poet named Dave Etter.  Illinois guy.  His best work is Alliance, Illinois.  I had the opportunity to have a beer (or two, maybe three) w/Dave one night.  Great poet.  This piece reminds me of his work.  

Would be adequate for miscellaneous but not for mild. Check the guidelines at the top of each forum.

It's somehow WRONG to recommend a poet?  Okay....I'll PM her.

There is a thread for recommending poets. In addition, it would be appropriate for a discussion topic.  Feedback in mild which has nothing to do with the poem and everything to do with you gets deleted. A new member might not know this.
