Say Something

I wrote a verse
then erased it.

Here it is. 



                                       Do you like it?
                                       The silence?  The purity of space?

                                       The blather doesn't blah-blah
                                       the space of what you say.

I kole! I really like this except that one line. I wouldn't try to define the empty space at all. I hate the word 'purity' in any context except in the chemistry lab.

It seems to be poking a little bit of fun at the self-centeredness of the reader. Of us all, really.
