What curious points you bring up. As these seem to reflect effort on your part,
I shall take it upon myself to reflect well and hard on your suggestions and try my
best not to misconstrue them any further. It's good to find someone with the courage
to express themselves, even at the risk of being thought inept and ill-prepared.
Your attempts are sincerely appreciated.  I'm leaving on a trip to the Aucklands
tomorrow, but I certainly intend to mull them upon my return.

I didn't mean anything by it--I was just responding to the fact that NobodyNothing was joking about doing a line-by-line. Usually when I find a new community I try my best to adapt quickly and fit in. (I'm very nostalgic for the old poetry forum I used to hang out at, which is no longer there   )

I wouldn't have tried this sort of thing if a) you weren't a regular and b) I didn't assume you were good with humor. After scanning around a few of the posts I figured most of the regulars here would be alright with that sort of thing. Please don't misconstrue anything I say as negative. I got concerned when I saw your recent limerick (but then again I have a habit of thinking everything is about me which I know isn't always the case).

I meant it when I said that I loved this limerick, and the line-by-line was nothing more than a joke.

on the limerick seriously, with my joke of giving a very serious, condescending reply.

Your thinking that the recent limerick might have something to do with you is VERY DISTURBING.
My mind refuses to go there this early in the morning.

But it does imply three positive things about your poetic personality:
1. You're an egotist; everything IS about you. -- Absolutely essential for writing in general and poetry in specific.
2. You have a VERY creative imagination.
3. You can read people's subconscious. -- Oh, damn, there I went and went there...

I wish I could say I GOTCHA!, but I didn't. 

At first I figured you were just being a smart ass , but then I saw your new limerick and, well, yeah my mind ran away with me. It still makes perfect sense in my mind how I came to the conclusion, however I have noticed more recently my strong ability to emotionally reason. Perhaps I am a bit of an egotist ! (but it's wrapped in insecurities). Yes, a little too creative (which isn't always productive)...and yes, you were right when you said I can read people's subconscious. That's one of the interesting things about you; you know subconsciously that everything is about me (laughing).

It was a relief to see your reply last night actually. I won't let on to my paranoid mind in the future
