I rather liked the page numbers, and while they did distract a little, it also gave a heads up that things were about to change... I did not mind it an liked the "change of pace" from regular writing... The narrative voice is interesting... Why not keep the flow... I do know I liked the page numbers much more then the words... Those distract a lot more from the read for me... Overall I enjoyed this piece, thank you for posting it..
