That Smell

Everyone is watching
three rizzla's
on an album sleeve.
Heated crumbs
spread like seeds.
I can smell
the crop
burning my throat.

A diver in deep seas,
leaded
at belt and boot.

A cough laughs
on its way out
and I wonder what
I'm talking about,
and why they are
laughing at me.

    You have, dare I say, captured the essence.


    I feel like such a milo, but: The correct spelling is "rizla" or, to be even more correct, "Rizla+".
    We always used Zig-Zags (though roasting in the oven and mixing into peanut butter was a fav).
