I think the Kyrgyz themselves have just had enough. It's easy to blame it on Russia but the country was already shoulder deep in corruption so it's now wonder.

I don't think the government will be able to quash this. When the people rise together, it's virtually impossible to stop them. It's what makes an effective coup d'état.
