i went to the docs
told him about my cravings
controlling my life

early in the morn
always in the afternoon -
night time is the worst

lines lines three of them
those seventeen syllables
in five seven five

silly syllables
counting counting all the time -
five seven and five

damn cherry blossoms
damn full moon, half moon, new moon
god damn fucking frogs

my wife has left me
she wasn't very happy
about our sex life

juxtaposition
is the only position
i'm willing to try

i'm going insane
i pleaded with the doctor -
asked him for some help

perhaps some tablets
or an injection of sorts
then some counselling

doc just shook his head -
then transformed into a frog
and jumped in a pond

so i went back home
decided to hang myself
found a length of rope

looked for a big tree
but there were none to be found -
just cherry blossoms
