I agree (squeamishly)! It’s only in the movies where you hear that bizarre 'sheathing sword sound' during a knifing. I diced off the tip off my finger cooking over the holidays. In addition to not hearing anything, I did not feel anything until the tidbit flicked to the cutting board and the shallots looked like they were bleeding.
