Thank you both. I think there are many times people find things and because they do not know what it is, assume it has no value simply because it has no value to them. So it gets thrown away, no matter how valuable it might actually be.
I also struggled with the "it" problem. I've probably changed it every time I read through..."it"
I am going to change "it" into non-itsistence.
