Anyone know this Poem?

Its been a while since I saw this Poem and trying to remember how it went. It went some thing like this, I was in a hole, you gave me a rope I would not take it.......................You showed me your love.............I wish I remember it but it went something like many atempts to get me out of the hole and the only thing to get me out was your love.
