My left taps in four, and my right taps in ¾.”
“How can you tell one from the other?”
“Well, ‘four’, is four straight beats... no variance,
but with ¾, there is an emphasis on the first beat.”
“I still can’t hear it.”
“Well of course not, you’re not a horologist!”
