17? I was apathetic because not only did my mother not breastfeed me, she wasn't as attractive as the tits my neighbors' wives had. Those 16 year old giants of southern consent laws. What I'm saying is teenage angst paid off well, and most of us are bored and old by 12.

I'm jealous of free thought, free freedoms,

I have free thoughts now at 32. But the actions that attend those thoughts are criminal in my district.

It's not, at least, as if you didn't and don't care. I can tell by your writing that you would if you could.  

Your thoughts are much appreciated Owen. People will always want better from me, but I can't focus on one thing for more than 20 minutes. Is it apathy, fatigue, or sloth?  It doesn't matter. Nor should this poem. It's trash but it's my trash that I'm forced to look at more than once because I put it on the internet.

The apathy is renewed every 7 years. Like a broken mirror curse.
