Registering the Poor to Vote is Un-American

i've done a bit of travelling and and met a few peoples. the yanks def have a way of their own and sorry i can't explain it but like the uk there is a steryotype. and within that stereotype sub stereotypes of which i have seen but a few. in general most places i've been have peoples with similar values, morals and judgements. the yanks just tend to do it louder the germans stricter the philippinos happier and the brits drunkenly. not a lot of differences but a lot of differences.

What is the American way? most get thier ideas from sensationalist talk show hosts on either side, and other similar media. most Americans get thier ideas about other countries from dated history books that in no way tell the story the same way as that country's books will tell it. Most of our media is American. their are some American that venture out to other sources but in that way we are almost like China. In the popular bookstores you will not find any foreign poetry translated to English. sure, plenty exists, but not like in europe where borders are closer together and one might go shopping in another country, despite the fact that there is no drinking water anywhere and even the showers aren't safe so most try not to stray too far from the town well.
