Starving Brazilians do not pity those sporting neckties,
grumbling stomachs and hot hips cannot sympathize.
Rats stacked in ghettos
displaced by impenetrable stadiums in the name of Samba.
Some children learn their letters,
they earn theirs in blood.
Familial Robin Hoods stealing for survival,
more likely to have a .45 than $.45.
Soon to peddle outside forgotten mega projects,
preying on unsuspecting glittery tourists.
grumbling stomachs and hot hips cannot sympathize.

I write what I see. Write to make it right, don't like where I be. I'd like to make it like the sights on TV. Quite the great life, so nice and easy.
