In the Pando grove


The trees here grow so close entwined
it's hard to find a path between.
Not one of them grew from a seed,
they've had no sex since humankind
began to notice things like that.
Their seeds are fertile, planted out
but they themselves were never sprouts -
they're clones the parent tree begat.

Eh - the poem's cool either way and the site makes us read posts in reverse order, I would just have liked to see this poem in the clones thread.
