no we cannot spotlight the truly bad poems. often they're from those new to poetry. it would be churlish and inconsiderate to do such a thing. the forum's here to promote poetry, not destroy it. you may cut new bum holes in my poetry by all means but leave the newbs alone :J:

i agree some/ many take feedback to heart, i can understand why to a point, it can't be easy seeing something you've built torn down. the thick skin comes with understanding and wanting to improve. on that score the mentoring is a good thing, most of all honest feedback with a bit of compassion is the name of the game for thick skins.
