Hi Chris, great short poem you've got here. I especially like that middle line with it's feline like swagger. For some reason I thought serpentine alley was a reference to "Turpentine Alley" but after Googling, it would seem that "Turpentine Alley" is a place that I have invented.
I'm far happier with cats bemiring queens than bemiring my garden.
