Kindo, tectak's example does have the 9-9-6-6-9 meter that is preferred. This would sound better thusly;

A drunkard possessin' great odor
found some raunchy lass with no candor
staggered home through the woods
for a beer, steak and “goods”
No surprise to find her a realtor
