on re-thinking it, it should be one of these:

ancient ipod
broken earbuds
sound of ocean

(sound of sea when putting a conch shell up to your ear)


ancient ipod
broken earbuds
no sound of water

(i.e. the damn thing's broken and all the sound in your world emanates from an ipod)
