Poems, not prescriptions.
And I remember you told me once,
"You can be anything you want to be"
Why didn't you want to be my dad?
I think the poems not prescriptions line is excellent, and the last line really shocks the audience. If you could somehow make each stanza as good as this last one, you would have a world class poem.
