I don't see how this is any more our less deserving of serious than the last one. I actually think it's a little bit better. Besides, you said Greenwich, which lets us know exactly where it's at and is a little different than saying faith in the British god, which would have made me wonder if he /god/ looked like jason statham, and Shogun would have made us wonder if you were talking about Hong Kong a few decades back, or who knows what colony, but still, how is "faith and God in Greenwich" not better? Or even faith, god and Greenwich. Heaven's sake! America's a big place! and the /god/ american? As if Jesus where nailed to the cross by pneumatic Black n Decker roofing gun! As if his last name were Washington! It's like saying God is an American. Really? Care to elaborate?
And you didn't specify where in america.you didn't say texan God (lol imagine that!) Or mid western god (gods a farmer and wears overalls) or californiano God (is Arnold Schwarzenegger God then)?
So who is this God who is American? Barack Obama? Scary thought!
If you would have said "faith in the Irish God" I would wonder if he were catholic or protestant. It's enough to start a war over!
If you said faith in the English God, I would pour a glass of wine and settle in, prepare myself for an interesting narrative or speech, in the voice of Queen Elizabeth. I'll leave it there.
