Hemingway said "write drunk, edit sober". Perhaps when you're under the influence of substances or even in the middle of a bit of a psychotic episode, you will come up with interesting ideas but that definitely doesn't mean you're more creative, it just means that your creativity is altered.
There are plenty of examples, here and elsewhere, of people drink-posting -- it's not all that hard to tell
. There's often a poem in there somewhere but it takes a steady hand with the scalpel to draw it out. So sure, write whatever you like while you're on whatever you like -- but don't expect it to be instantly brilliant and don't assume that it makes you better than those who are neither insane nor inebriated.
