how did you post without the password abu?

Thanks, everyone. I am calmer now. It would not allow me to change my pass-word, but did give me some complicated selection of random letters. The point came when I needed to know whether I could just look, or could add messages, so I concocted that, rather assuming it would not work. I shall stay with Leanne's new one for a little. No offence to those who own and work at keeping it going -just frustration!

You are very old. Perhaps you were trying your password in an ancient script that isn't recognised by newfangled devices. I will reset you and sent you an email telling you that your new password is "cobblers". Or something to that effect.

You might be right. Who knows how far the diktats about archaisms go? And as for old, that too. I celebrated my 72nd birthday by apologising to a bar-code in the supermarket.......

It would not accept my password. It gave me a new password. I tried to change my password to something sensible. It tells me I have forgotten my password. I may be gone some time.
