I would think a book if it were created would draw on poems from "spotlighting the hogs" as far as the authors were willing, there is more than enough there.

As far as novices missing out, I would think novice or not, if the poem was nice enough it would be included and if not, long term commitment to the site would probably eventually lead to something that was nice enough. For the legions of "pop-ins" and "pop-outs", I don't think they really represent the site anyway.

All of this is of course my opinion, but I tend to see things in simple fashions.

novice would imply of standard relating to novice of course but i'm on about how they improve even if it's not publishable.

to publish would require funds. garnering funds in any way for anything is something i feel pretty deeply about. at the end of the day while it may be a good idea, it's a non starter. sorry guys.
