People You Hate

Would you ever write about someone you hate/hated?

I suppose it is inevitable at some point, but something about me makes me want to not give them the time of day. Another part makes me feel stalkerish...

I don't think I hate anyone. I make it a point not to think about people or things that bring up such strong negative emotions in me. The closest I come to hating is always the guy who I currently love who has just lied to, cheated on and dumped me, then tries to come back to me after he's miserable with his new wife (all in that order). In that case, it's more of a combination of love and hate.

I did write one poem about a guy I was in love with for 9 years. He used to be hot and cold to me and when he was cold, he said really cruel things. I called the poem "The Curse." Funnily, most of what was in the poem came true for him. I call it poetic justice.
