In the book it talked about how Escher had become so obsessed with perspective and studying it that he could no longer do normal stuff like walk down the street without it being like a bizarre trip. I've just realised tonight that Ekphrastic Escher is not an original idea, a google search threw up loads of them and the first one was actually this picture but the poem wasn't that good, thank God.
First of all, I love the idea of a poem written about an Escher picture. I've always been fascinated by him. And I very much like this poem. The structure of it works really well with the context, creating the Escher picture both with the meaning of the words, but also (almost) visually, with the placement of the words.
I think it's good you made the anagrams in bold letters, I think most people don't notice anagrams, but I could be wrong. I think it was a clever use of those anagrams, and I did notice them on my first read-through. But I also speak in anagrams on a daily basis so I have some practiceGreat alliterations too. I've forgotten the rest I would say, my head's not quite functioning. Thanks for an inspirational read

Thanks for commenting on my poem, it is much appreciated. I'm glad you enjoyed it because I really did enjoy writing something different, and I learnt a new word just like you, "lemniscate" was the word I had never heard before, but it won't be the last time I use it.
Thanks again
