Well it used to be that way in Canada also and as a matter of fact i am pretty sure it still is. I am all for raising it to 31 years of age. 18 seems to be the age where more than anything else young people seem to grow legs and want to wander off to screw up their lives for themselves without our help. Also seems to be the age when most parrents want them out on their own also. So with those 2 thoughts in mind it is easy to figure the reason for the age being 18. 31 though being a much more attractive age as far as voteing rights go is not really going to go over well with the rest of it. I have a much better idea.....lets revoke womens rights to vote, i'm all for that little peice of business however it also holds about as much of a responsible thought process as lowering the voteing age to 14.
