A Student's Tribute to Wordsworth
O Wordsworth, thou prophet! how generous you seem to me
To share your every priceless thought, saving none for privacy.
Your "impulse from a vernal wood", it must have been a strong one.
Mother Nature blushes at your gaze -- it's been an oddly long one.
You're so much inspiring I find you quite tiring,
Though doubtless you're One Of The Best.
I pray after a time we'll be done with your rhyme
And have laid your Great Works back to rest.

the last stanza is a limerick that works well on its own

thanks for the read.
