Is there another word for a deep low purr? Or I must somehow find another solution. I am aware that this intro lines must well sound a tad odd. For the time being I thought I d take them out.(04-10-2013, 07:24 PM)serge gurkski Wrote: Humming soothings to my heart
like a tomcat close to death, Would 'purring' be carrying the simile too far?
On Good Friday I am bleeding
for a liar crucified: I like this.
No more blood of lambs on doorposts.
First of Passovers has passed! I'm thinking you could remove 'First of'. There was only one true passover, and no more. Everything else is a hollow imitation.

"for a liar crucified: I like this." like you like. ;-) I can tell you, there are people out there who don't. Well, .... ;-)
First of passovers: I had the Hebrew (take your pick transcription wise, e.g. Pessah mishraim. Bc I wanted to the egypt pessah. Of course you are right. and I don't know what to do here. the passing by or over of the malakh ha-mavet is what's that about. What I am going for is: temporarily absent only. I do not find the English strong enough. Massive. I mean we are talking a horror story actually. (malakh makes me laugh all the time, not exactly the postman, it's the real thing. to type out the unspeakable: death. period.
Nakedst of bears, thank you very much for looking into this!
I ll let it simmer a bit and for now just go with thy typical Gurkski helter skelter barrelhouse rambling.
(I know! that Tomtec would nodd here when i mumble to myself: Never change a running horse ...
cheers
