Just at the idea stage (wanted to make this a sestina style letter but not enough time now...perhaps later)

Dear Giant,

I wish I could say this to you in person, but sadly, given the recent distress
I’m currently feeling about my investments, concerning the current fuel crisis,
I do not feel it would be fair, or appropriate, to sail from my current address
In St kitts, burning fuel all the way to Brixham to meet you. Also, my offshore Isa
Accounts are needful of my urgent attention, so I regrettably decline your invitation.
(I confess I was tempted, by your kind offer of travel and fleshy gratification).

This said, needs must, that I should address the issue of your complaint
And in this I also offer a caution. As you are well aware, the high court
does not up hold your charges and with considerable self control and restraint,
On the advise of my personal lawyer, I insist you desist from this libellous course.
So please, no more talk of what is “rightfully yours”. You’re becoming a frightful bore.
Take heart, I was once poor, hard to believe I know! But...then I was sent on a chore.
