I am not even trying to compare with what has already been posted, this is just my wee little contribution.

On waters deep
she sailed so proud,
so regal was her tread,
She bore a world within.

The merry dance,
the abundance,
of laughter everywhere
the cupid-smitten pair.

The wall between
the rich, the poor,
the ever-spreading rift.
So little chance to love.

The icy beast
the hidden bane,
ripped the queen apart,
Her guts spilled around.

They shut their eyes,
pulled their sheets,
and softly they sang,
the last of their songs.

Leaves shed,
not autumn yet,
lifeless figures on foam,
they had set out for home.


Titanic of course!

I am not a teenager but I am not ashamed to say that I love this... I was going to write on it but then changed my mind which was good coz you already did so.
I liked reading it.
