It was late
So I messaged her
Something about us both being at work so late

She replied with a sad face emoticon
Then said she was leaving soon
And ended it with a smiley face emoticon

I had no real reason to be speaking with her
So I made one up

I asked her if she liked Feist
I really thought she would know since she's white
But she had no idea until I introduced her

I'm not sure who she is as a person
And no idea how she is

But if it were me
And I was her
I'd go home and look Feist up

Then I would listen specifically to the song she played me
From there I'd listen to her popular songs
And if I was a fan
I'd research similar artists and have a bigger music collection

She doesn't know it yet but if we were to ever date
She already knows our song
