This was sweet. (don't mean that derogatively, in a nice way). I particularly liked the use of lilted to describe the tone of the previous stanzas. Thought that was a neat word to use. Gave the last stanza an interesting edge (those tears of a clown again).
Thanks for the read. (As my son aged 4 would say "More dink, more dink!" ...perhaps just one more pint)
