First Poem that Impacted You

There were quite a lot of poems floating around in my house -- lots of Banjo Paterson and Henry Lawson as well as a cassette of Pam Ayres (I don't want to go to school mum, I want to stay home with my duck!) -- but the first poem I knew by heart and loved to recite was The Triantiwontigongolope by C J Dennis.
