I've only expanded my philosophy. I say Situational isn't a philosophy, because the word came out of something me and the people I used to go on adventures with would say. It's one of those "you'd have to be there" kind of things. So I use the word for everything I write, and all the music I make. And I explain it in my essays by starting from the point that "Situational" is nothing in itself. It was way before I heard of Guy Debord, so it had nothing to do with the Situationists; though I've since incorporated some of that. (Though, to tell the truth, I've never read any Situationist stuff).
My family was told by doctors that they shouldn't encourage or enable my writing in any way, because it's simply a symptom of illness. The doctors and people up in Boston were a little more sympathetic. But while they told me that, after talking to my mom on the phone (they had speaker phone meetings), they got the impression that she was very ignorant; they told my mom that I was one of the most difficult people they ever met, and that they couldn't treat me unless I was able to change my worldview.
But I've most likely only made my worldview more difficult to treat.
