I think it's a useful thing to write poems in all kinds of ways, from all kinds of inspirations or stimulus. Epiphanies, things you see or that happen. Moods you invent, or that come when you don't want them.
From music to literature to language: It all lends to a kind of status quo. Religions get upset over some chords, and music that breaks out of music. It corrupts the culture and the civilization.
There's so much cleverness and irony in our culture. And there's so much bad poetry trying to be good poetry or trying to rebel by being bad poetry that it's bad at being bad.
What you did here was experiment, and that's always respectable in my mind. Even if you were just fooling around.
But this is the forum for fun, and I usually don't spend much time in this section. My sense of what's fun is normally discordant anyway.
