I enjoyed the piece as well. A touch contemplative, and sweet. As far as critique, i thought profligate was an unnecessarily awkward word choice that took me out of the scene a bit. But most of it was a nice read 
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?
