stuffed inside that other monkey’s howler hole,
he looks like he means business. Do not fuck

with that monkey. Get a load of this opossum,
what a frigging pimp! She’s got her belly loaded
with at least a dozen kits—pups? Subossums?

Possumites? Whatever they’re called, you’d love them
till they ate through all your shoes. Check out
this flying fox, and don’t you dare call him a fruit

bat—he’s lived too long to deal with people
who don’t even know him calling him
by his deadname.

A precious child of God, see how the sun
clings to his lips? Most likely he will die
before he lets go that banana.

Hi, mat, I missed this one. The title made me smile. You might shorten it to one animal. Personally I'd dump the macaque. I'd keep the possum because I enjoyed the mulling over babe names. I don't get the use of pimp as I use that to describe the seller, not the doer but you may have a different usage. I don't know what they're doing in the closet but I did enjoy them eating the shoes. Maybe they eat stuff in the shed. You may choose to keep the the fox instead because it leads to the dead name and child of god. I like the banana. I like the end.

So I am not your friend who loves to listen to you prattle on. Good luck with it, on the whole it works for me.
