Not a poem. He had an obsession with many things but the Premature Burial was a living problem for him. I took this from that but moved the sentiment to death in your own head...much worse, I thought.

Let me get this straight. You took Poe's obsession with being buried alive and changed it to death in your own head? I understand completely, as I have written many poems (too many as far as Leanne is concerned) about death in one's head. To quote myself:
"Yes, I find, that I do fear, that my end is almost here,
just as I have thought it was, for many, many, years."
